Accommodation and Welfare Coordinator Full Time, Permanent £24k-£25k Per Annum Eastbourne, Office Based Duties:
1. Arranging revisits of existing hosts who have not been visited for 2 years
2. Revisiting homestays
3. Typing up visit details and filing
4. Contacting referee to obtain mailing addresses and generating letters for referees
5. Maintaining spreadsheets and files for Host References Returned and Changes and Complaints
6. Informing hosts of taxi transfer details and arrival information of students
7. Contacting agents/students to obtain arrival details
8. Emailing agents/students one week prior to student arrival to check visa situation
9. Maintaining spreadsheets for hosts fire risk assessments, gas safety checks and declaration forms
10. Assisting the Accommodation & Welfare Officer with updating and maintaining records of all information received
11. Chasing receipt of Parent Consent forms from agents and students and keeping track of sending copies of Parent Consent Forms to hosts
12. Running weekly reports of contact details and next of kin for students
13. Providing welfare advice for students under 18 years of age, and meeting with them during their first week in Accommodation & Welfare Officer's absence
