Your new role
As the Operations Director, you will be reporting to the Managing Director whilst overseeing around 300 employees indirectly. Within this role, you will be expected to manage a budget in excess of £10m and lead the end to end operational activities of the business. You will be expected to react within the market whilst working towards long-term strategies set out by the Exec team. As the Operations Director, you will be fundamental in the identification of cost-saving exercises including efficiency improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Operations Director vacancy, you must have a proven track record of managing large scale teams within a Manufacturing or Logistics business previously. In addition to this, ideally you'll be degree educated and hold either an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. You must have strong P&L experience to accompany your budget creation / management skills.
What you'll get in return
As the Operations Director, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £105,000, which will be dependent upon your experience. In addition to this salary, you'll be given a car allowance of £12,000, and you'll join the senior leadership bonus scheme.
