The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) is committed to engaging its donors, stakeholders, venues and the public in all that it does.
The WBS places great importance on building strong and lasting relationships with its donors. It does this by ensuring donors are kept informed of developments within the Service, are made aware of clinics taking place in their local vicinity and are recognised for their support at donor awards evenings across Wales.

Main duties of the job

The Donor Engagement Coordinator's main duties at the Welsh Blood Service (WBS) are to ensure that all donation clinics are maximising donor attendance and communities are fully engaged in donation activity. Addressing problems which may arise when supporting a clinic which may jeopardise the estimated number of new and current donations. Delivery of audits for own area of work, analysing and presenting reports on performance, quality, and service delivery.
To recruit new and lapsed donors on to the whole blood panel, by educating and motivating the general public through excellent communication skills. The position will promote the need for Whole Blood, Bone Marrow and Apheresis donors throughout the region covered by the Welsh Blood Service.
A full driving licence and the use of your own vehicle is essential for this role.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
