Dermatology Consultant – Kent Coast, UK – Competitive salary + NHS Benefits – Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dermatology Consultant to join a dynamic and growing team on the beautiful Kent Coast. As a Consultant in Dermatology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, and other complex skin disorders. You will play an integral role in delivering services across inpatient and outpatient settings, supervising junior doctors, and contributing to clinical education and research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management for patients with various dermatological conditions.
* Lead outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
* Perform dermatological procedures and surgeries as required.
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including specialty trainees and medical students.
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with other specialties, such as oncology and plastic surgery, to provide holistic patient care.
* Participate in teaching, training, and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
* Engage in clinical research and audit to support evidence-based practice.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Full GMC Registration with Specialist Registration in Dermatology (or eligible for registration).
* Significant experience in dermatology, including advanced training in a wide range of dermatological conditions.
* Proven clinical expertise in dermatology, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
