Are you an empathetic and caring individual looking for a rewarding role in special needs care?
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our family and provide companionship and support to our 18-year-old son, who has cerebral palsy.
He attends a local special needs school and enjoys days out, listening to music and stories, and being around others.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, confident, and calm, with a fun and energetic personality.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of personal care, including feeding and fluid management, therapy, and administering medication.
You will also have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, with the support of our experienced carers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good standard of English, as well as common sense and the ability to work well under pressure.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £17-£19, depending on experience, as well as paid holidays and a pension scheme.
Full training and shadowing shifts will be provided, and previous experience in support or care work is highly desirable.
Please note that a valid passport, DBS check, and references will be required for this role.
