We are a small, award winning, general practice serving thepeople of Bingley, Gilstead, Eldwick and the surrounding areas forover 30 years.
We are based in Eldwick, and our aim is to provide an efficient,high-quality service in a friendly atmosphere.
We provide the latest in terms of modern medical care yet maintaina personal touch for our patients.
We are a GP Training Practice with a list size of approximately 4000 basedin purpose-built surroundings.
Overall CQC rated good - outstanding for providing effective service.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidateMUST possess an excellent telephone manner and customer skills and be able towork independently or as part of a team and have experience of using SystemOne.
Hours ofwork required are: -
Tuesday 7:45am to 13:15pm
Wednesday 7:30am to 13:15pm

Job responsibilities
Reception
Receiving patients, consulting with members of practice team
Handing completed repeat prescriptions to patient and checking names and address.
Be able to cover all reception position as necessary.
Appointments
Process appointment requests for today/future appointments from patients by telephone and in person.
Deal with visits/requests.
Administration
To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures
To work in accordance with written protocols
Pulling/filing notes for surgeries and updating as necessary
Filing post in medical records
photocopy as requested.
Computer
Registrations of new patients computer data entry and medical records
Process patients changes of address computer data and medical records (have knowledge of practice area)
Process repeat prescription requests in accordance with practice guidelines
Telephone
Have working knowledge of telephone system, during and after hours.
Answer telephone when necessary.
Other Tasks
Clear rooms after surgeries
Ensure building security have thorough knowledge of doors/windows/alarm.
Any other tasks allocated by managers.
