JOB ROLE
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accountable for achieving set revenues and defined KPIs within the territory, tracking, analysing, forecasting and reporting accordingly.
2. Identify opportunities to up-sell and link-sell to develop the territory.
3. Identifying key opportunities within the territory to elevate and accelerate growth with existing salons through the promotion and sales of products and services.
4. Continually build and develop an active pipeline of new business targets / new doors / gain opportunities.
5. Develop and nurture strong lasting client relationships, providing value to our salons.
6. Organise experiential brand events co-ordinated with major launches and key retail periods both offline and online.
7. Develop internal network and relationships to support key activity, such as partnering with key account educators.
8. Preparation, and active participation in team and sales meetings and events.
9. Manage diary and journey plan effectively to ensure maximum productivity.
10. Accurately input data into Salesforce in a timely manner and in line with business objectives.
11. Collaborate effectively and enthusiastically within the regional and national sales and education team.
12. Manage and maintain the terms outlined in our retail partnership contracts on a monthly/bi- monthly basis.
13. Support clients through the implementation of key promotional and marketing activity to generate sales growth and meet brand objectives in line with ghd’s 4E (Execution, Engagement, Education, Eventing) strategy.
14. Support and implement social media strategies with salons in line with ghd’s marketing activations as well as being involved in unique content creation.
15. Ensure brand executions in salon are premium and in accordance with new launches and promotional calendars, applying best practices to window and in salon retail areas.
16. Role model the ‘ghd expert’ approach in salon by sharing product knowledge, trial & demo, and implementation of ghd PHD.
17. Support clients with appropriate budget and payment solutions.
18. Foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
19. Role model and champion the 5Cs framework.
REQUIREMENTS
20. Proven account management or other relevant experience.
21. Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
22. Entrepreneurial and results orientated mindset.
23. Understanding of social media and how to utilise for commercial benefit.
24. Computer literate with good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to create bespoke. PowerPoint Presentations for individual customers.
25. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive and influence both internal stakeholders and external business partners.
26. Ability to engage, create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
27. A high level of verbal and written communications skills.
28. Ability to work under pressure within deadlines with excellent organisational and time management skills.
29. Highly adaptable to change, with the ability to work autonomously.
30. Desire to continuously learn and develop.
31. Enthusiastic and hands-on style, with a can-do attitude.
32. Demonstrates passion for the ghd brand and products.
33. Ideally based in the defined territory.
34. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
