Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Teach across all levels and abilities - A-Level. GCSE, Functional Skills.
2. Develop, maintain, and stimulate pupils' curiosity, interest, and enjoyment.
3. Enable all pupils to have equal access to Mathematics and to experience success.
4. Develop pupils' familiarity, competence and confidence with appropriate Mathematical concepts, principles and methods.
5. Provide challenge for every pupil and to encourage all pupils to achieve their potential.
6. Develop pupils' understanding and applications of Mathematics in its wider context.
7. Share in departmental best practice.
Skills & experience
8. Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS on the update service.
9. A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent.
10. Experience of delivering the subject.
11. Knowledge of a range of pedagogic approaches to cater for different learning styles and ensure that all students are fully supported.
12. Up-to-date subject knowledge.
13. Excellent communication skills.
14. Flexible approach and readiness to respond to individual pupil needs.
