As a Business Support officer for Children’s Services locality teams the main duties of the role will involve the administration and minuting/recording of actions of Children's Services Panels/Meetings, to provide support to senior management and contribute to the accurate production of data/relevant information required for statutory and non-statutory means, using initiative to resolve queries within agreed timescales and to a high standard as it has a direct impact on the lives of children, young people and their families. All of our work involves computers. Attention to detail is key, you must be a confident and experienced minute taker, be able to prioritise your work, manage your time and be able to adhere to strict deadlines and follow procedures. You will be required to enter and retrieve confidential information into our internal ICT systems. Excellent keyboard skills and a knowledge of various IT systems are essential.
You would be working as part of a team of Business Support Officers in both your chosen area and also the wider Business Support team citywide. This post is based in Wythenshawe.
