This role is fully onsite 5 days a week in Salisbury.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status,
employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check
(known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
* Development of the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) build image for desktop and Servers platforms.
* Use of SCCM to own and maintain the SOEs.
* Identification and analysis of Patches and impact of them.
* Identifying the impact of technical changes to or affecting the SOE to an operational level.
Your skills and experience
* MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) 2012/2013.
* Desktop/Server Deployment Experience and/or SCCM experience.
* Experience of the development and support of standard O/S builds for Desktop or Server including Windows 7/8/10/11.
* Scripting (VB, WMI, Command Line).
* Ability to use own initiative and tenacity to achieve deadlines and resolve issues as per agreed SLAs.
* Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.
* MCSE/MCP Certification in Windows (preferred but not essential).
* An understanding of Software Deployment and Remote Support Tools.
* Experience in Active Directory, Group Policy would be beneficial.
* An understanding of Remedy / EARS / ServiceNOW or similar would be beneficial.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (DV) clearance.
To obtain DV clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
