Client Manager required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Lincoln, and due to recent growth are seeking a Client Manager to join their welcoming and friendly team.
My client provides a personal and professional accounting service tailored to all of their clients, which includes; start-ups, sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, property landlords, contractors, freelancers and individual taxpayers.
Client Manager Job Overview
1. Conduct client meetings, both in person and virtually to engage with potential new clients and support existing clients.
2. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners.
3. Manage the workflow of client portfolios efficiently, including pre-year-end meetings, the preparation and submission of annual accounts, tax returns, and liaising with HMRC and Companies House on behalf of clients.
4. Complete self-assessment tax returns, HMRC Let Property Campaign and 60-day CGT returns.
5. Perform bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS and payroll services for assigned clients.
Client Manager Job Requirements
1. Part-qualified/qualified ACA/ACCA.
2. 3+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice.
3. Up to date tax knowledge.
4. Good working knowledge of accounting software (TaxCalc, Xero, Quickbooks, Dext).
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Efficient organisation and time management skills.
This is a fully office-based role so suitable candidates must have a reasonable commute to the Lincoln area.
Client Manager Salary & Benefits
£30,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
24 days annual leave + birthday off.
Early finish on a Friday.
