EXECUTIVE OFFICER'S REQUIRED

CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED NEAR OMAGH, COUNTY TYRONE (NI)
Based in Omagh, working 36 hours per week Monday to Friday 9-5pm; the successful candidate will work at an Executive Officer grade on a temporary basis, for our client's Children and Young People's Services.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Information Planning and Research and will provide administrative support, follow set procedures, and exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions under general supervision. It is also essential that the ideal candidate is confident in content management, working with content creators and has the ability to navigate a web-based system.
The length of this temporary role is until 28th March 2025 initially with no guarantee of it being extended. The rate of pay for this role is £12.94 per hour.
Duties will include:
* Provide administrative support to the ASEO and Project Team
* Establish, maintain, and operate manual and computerised information systems to provide appropriate reports, information, and statistics in line with project targets
* Keep up to date with developments in relevant data management systems including the EMS Capita Module for Special Education
* Arrange meetings, appointments, attendance at meetings/consultation events and general co-ordination of diaries for officers
* Collate and provide statistical information and reports as required by the ASEO in line with requirements of the service
* Word process correspondence, reports, agendas, and minutes, and create and design databases, spreadsheets, forms, presentations, leaflets, booklets, etc. using a variety of software packages, including PowerPoint
* Attend relevant meetings in line with the duties of the post
* Develop, maintain, and update manual and computerised filing systems.
* Organise and administer consultation meetings/events to include booking venues and catering provision to meet the needs of the meeting/event, organising equipment, room layout, special requirements, etc.
* Prepare project reports for a variety of audiences, and present research findings and reports to a variety of audiences.
* Supervise relevant staff including the allocation of tasks, checking output, quality and quantity of work, rotation and reallocation of duties or workload

NVQ Level 3, BTEC National or two 'A' levels or equivalent or higher examination qualifications
AND
Two years' experience working in an administrative role in an office environment to including the use of IT Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel.
OR
Five years' experience working in an administrative role in an office environment to include practical use of computers
