The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering an appreciation for scientific inquiry and critical thinking. You’ll join a dedicated Science department, delivering a curriculum that encourages exploration and understanding in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Science curriculum.
* Inspire and motivate students, promoting a love of learning and critical thinking in Science.
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, creating a positive and productive classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative and effective teaching practices.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher with a commitment to high standards and a passion for the subject. This role is ideal for someone who can bring energy to the classroom and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Science.
* Experience teaching Science at the secondary level, preferably across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Science.
* Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to build a positive learning environment.
* A proactive, flexible approach and a commitment to students’ academic and personal growth.
