eRostering Information Analyst

The Post:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Human Resources function for 1 eRostering Information Analysts to join our team, supporting the implementation of an eRostering system across services in NSS.
The role will provide first point of contact systems support, dealing with enquiries and requests for assistance from both internal and external customers. Involving the maintenance of Workforce Information across the eRostering and integrated workforce systems, processing joiners, movers and leaver requests, including updating employee and line manager information including relevant contractual changes.
Maintaining and developing systems guidance and documentation and delivering first line user support for system queries and supporting system leads in the maintenance of the system. Maintain operational staffing functions associated with eRostering and all associated systems and processes. Plan and deliver training to local end users. Maintenance of eRostering information at a unit information, i.e. budget, WTE, shifts and demand, etc.
The Candidate:
You should have sound knowledge and experience of working within a multi-system interface environment and to be able to relate to operational dependencies of systems, e.g. structures, access rights, etc, ideally specifically those within a rostering/ HR environment. You should also have experience of developing technical solutions to problems in a logical and structured way.
The post requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills including persuasive, influencing and motivational, strong organisational skills and the ability to produce written work of the highest quality.
You will identify innovative solutions to systems and process challenges, ensuring these are customer centred, evidence value add and impacting.
The role will also require experience in the implementation and management of business systems (workforce) along with the provision of expert advice.
You will work within a high volume area and the ability to manage your workload, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are key for this role.
Location and Working Pattern:
This post will be based in Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.
Currently hybrid working.
The work pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
