A regional Civil Engineering and Utilities Contractor is seeking a Streetworks Co-ordinator / Planner work work from its Portsmouth depot
Job description
1. Assisting the Project manager in planning the work.
2. Liaising with managers and supervisors.
3. Communicating with Highway authorities, Traffic management companies and site meetings.
4. Applying for Opening/Closing Streetworks permits.
5. Appling for Temporary Traffic Road Order (TTRO), parking, bus stop, loading bays and taxi rank suspensions.
6. Recording registration, defects and fixed penalty fines.
7. Ensure site management is aware of and provided with up-to-date permit numbers, conditions information.
8. Keeping records to assist Commercial Department.
Job requirements
1. Experience would be good; training will be provided.
2. Conversant with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and PowerPoint
3. Good presentation preparation and delivery skills
4. Good writing skills for reports, for internal and external communication
5. Highly self-motivated, a confident communicator at any level and sets a high standard through example regarding compliance with company safety standards
