Working hours: Two Week Rolling Rota between 22:30pm – 08:30am this is worked over 2 x 10-hour shifts working: Week 1: Monday and Thursday / Week 2: Monday and Tuesday
Salary: £23,523 - £24,049 per annum - salary quoted is full for time hours, salary will be pro rata for part time hours. In addition, a 20% unsocial hours enhancement will be paid when covering hours between 11pm – 7am

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Waking Nights Recovery Worker to join our supportive team at our brand-new 4-bedded house in the village of Barroway Drove. With free onsite parking and unlimited tea and coffee, this is an excellent role for someone who values a healthy work-life balance.
About the Role:
As a Waking Night Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are receiving clinical support from the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT West). These individuals do not require hospital admission, but benefit from safe, compassionate, and therapeutic support in their own homes.
This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility in their working hours, as you will work overnight shifts with the autonomy to balance your personal commitments. You will provide therapeutic interventions such as Mindfulness, Distraction Techniques, and A Friendly Ear Without Judgment to help individuals manage their mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1-2-1 support to individuals using the service during the night shift.
2. Remain awake and responsive to the needs of individuals, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
3. Complete referrals and signposting to relevant services.
4. Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
5. Ensure accurate and timely entries into the electronic clinical system.
6. Contribute to team meetings and attend mandatory online and in-person training.
7. Provide a comprehensive handover to the team coming on duty.
8. Support individuals through therapeutic interventions, including mindfulness, distraction techniques, and signposting.
9. Demonstrate a passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs and a commitment to promoting recovery in a supportive, psychologically-informed environment.
