A well established Road Freight company that has been operating for over 40 years, is seeking an Operations Finance, and Administration Manager to join their team in Southend.
This is a new role within the business, the office offers a friendly and relaxed environment.
Ideal candidates will need to have come from the transport and logistics industry, have good attention to detail and be happy to work in the office 5 days per week.
Operations Finance & Admin Manager
1. Responsible for Insurance Claims, gathering this information from the relevant managers, spreadsheeting this and passing onto insurers
2. Helping to put invoices on Sage from each depot
3. Input workshop purchase invoices onto sage
4. Helping prepare invoices from transport team and presenting to customers for approval prior to adding them to vehicle files and invoicing
5. Ref above - Cross files, log invoice numbers and file job files
6. Adding these revenues to the cost sheet
7. Inputting other relevant data onto cost sheet such as tolls/ parking
8. Dartford toll allocation
9. Fuel report
10. Managing road tax payments
11. Managing monthly KPIs from accounts and transport departments for monthly presentations to Directors
