We are looking for a proactive and driven Energy Consultant to join my client’s dynamic team in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for sustainability and energy modelling who is eager to deepen expertise in environmental accreditation systems.

Hours: Monday – Friday, (8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
Location: Cobham (Office-based, 5 days a week)
Responsibilities:
* Deliver environmental accreditation projects, including BREEAM, SKA, Fitwel, and WELL Building.
* Lead and contribute to energy modelling projects using IES (VE) and/or NABERS.
* Support client-facing activities, including attending meetings and presenting sustainability strategies.
* Conduct performance analysis and support sustainable design initiatives.
* Communicate technical information clearly to clients.
* Develop an understanding of sustainability standards and certification processes.
* Conduct research and analysis to support sustainable design and project management.
* Organise and manage project documentation to meet deadlines and accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
* A degree of 2.1 or above (no specific degree is required, but a background in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related fields is a plus).
* Experience with IES (VE) and/or NABERS (candidates at various experience levels are welcome).
* Understanding of energy modelling, performance analysis, and sustainable design principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain technical information to clients.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Friendly and confident personality to integrate well into a small, collaborative team.
* Client-facing experience or the ability to build relationships with clients.
* A genuine interest in sustainability, with a desire to learn and grow within the field.
* Previous experience or exposure to BREEAM, SKA, or other environmental certifications would be advantageous but is not essential.
