Position: We are seeking an outstanding Primary SEND Teacher for our Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP) catering to KS1 or KS2. The ELP is dedicated to supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing them with tailored educational experiences that foster growth and development. Key Responsibilities: - Teach a small class of 6-9 children with ASD, supported by 1-2 SEND teaching assistants. - Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEND. - Maintain high expectations for all pupils, promoting a culture of achievement and continuous improvement. - Utilize effective strategies to support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils with ASD. - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Ideal Candidate: - Enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about teaching and supporting pupils with SEND. - Holds relevant qualifications and experience in teaching pupils with ASD. - Mainstream teaching experience with relevant SEND experience/skills is welcome. - Committed to raising attainment and maintaining high expectations in line with the school’s ethos. - Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills.
