Job Description
As a PMO analyst within Brambles, you’ll provide project support to a wide range of departments in a varied selection of projects.
With hybrid working available, you’ll need to be in commutable distance of Manchester. This role will help support the successful delivery of Northern European strategic and tactical initiatives by coordinating activity, training, governance and reporting within the UK & Ireland business.
Key Accountabilities
1. Facilitate, co-ordinate and support all Northern European initiatives in scope
2. Provide standardisation, documentation, tools, governance and support to Project Leads, and share best practice and learnings within the project management community
3. Provide project management training, development, advice and support to the Northern European team
4. Act as Scrum Master working within the Agile framework, and PMO support in other hybrid and waterfall initiatives
5. Follow up with project leads to ensure deadlines and milestones are met and offer support and coaching where appropriate, in order to successfully complete initiatives
6. Implement regular project health checks and quality assurance measures
7. Co-ordinate the Northern Europe Risk Register and make recommendations for initiatives for the future project pipeline, within the strategic planning cycle
8. Lead and support PMO continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll need:
9. You’ll need some project management experience and understanding of project process
10. A project management qualification would be fantastic
11. Some exposure to process improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
12. You’ll need strong communication skills to deal with a variety of senior stakeholders
13. Proficiency in Microsoft software packages, particularly MS Excel and Power Point.
