Job summary
We are recruiting for a Medical Secretary who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Medical Secretary will be responsible for the provision of an efficient, comprehensive personal assistant and administrative support service to the Consultants and any other members of their teams.
You will be required to cross-cover and support administrative work within the Stroke TIA Clinic and SSNAP Data Team and will be required to work independently using their own initiative and must apply a high degree of confidentiality to all aspects of their work.

Main duties of the job
You will be an effective secretary for Stroke Consultants and their medical teams. They will support the Consultants and their teams in ensuring all appropriate typing work is efficiently outsourced and returned, then subsequently dispatched following signature. This could include all letters, reports, summaries, results, insurance claims, GP and Consultant letters and any other work generated by the Consultants and their teams.
You will also be required to cross-cover and support administrative work within the Stroke TIA Clinic and SSNAP data team when required.
