Main duties of the job
Low intensity therapy is a highly valued and fundamental part of what we do.
Our trainee and qualified PWPs provide assessment and evidence-based, guided self-help treatment for people with mild to moderate anxiety disorders and/or depression. You must be able to demonstrate high standards of verbal and written communication and be able to establish meaningful, therapeutic relationships with people. In addition to clinical contact, the role includes data collection/management, record keeping, and community engagement/outreach activities.
You will be thoroughly supported on your training journey to becoming a PWP, through our tailored induction, regular supervision, and CPD opportunities. Once qualified, our PWPs are required to join the BABCP or BPS as registered practitioners.
