About the apprenticeship
Duties
Answering telephone calls and welcoming patients on arrival, alongside reception desk duties.
Handling and redirecting electronic mail, including test results and correspondence received from secondary care.
Booking, cancelling and arranging appointments as required.
Ordering prescriptions on patient request, both electronically and via the telephone.
Other administrative tasks such as responding to practice emails, liaising with outside agencies and maintaining an accurate filing system.

Qualifications
English and Maths via essential skills training.This is a varied, rewarding and challenging role which will best suit potential candidates who are highly motivated and can adapt to a demanding environment.
