FP&A Analyst - Reading - Hybrid - £50.000 - £55.000 - 12 month contract
I am currently recruiting for a long-standing client who require a FP&A Analyst for a period of 12 months. This is an exciting role working for a unique business who really value their staff.
Key duties:
1. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
2. Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
3. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
5. Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
6. Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
7. Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
8. Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What you will need be successful:
9. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
11. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
14. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
