Hours: 40 Hours per week available, working weekends on rota
Sympathetically refurbished and extended using traditional local stone Tallington Lodge is an integral part of the community in the pretty village of Tallington in Lincolnshire. Led by the Manager, the staff create a safe and warm friendly atmosphere.

THE ROLE
Within your role as Chef Manager, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing your team to ensure delivery of innovative solutions and quality service in line with business objectives and company standards to achieve and maximise set targets.
Proactive management of catering team. Responsible for recruiting, supporting, training and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to our residents
Accountable for ensuring ongoing team & resident communications
Responsible for maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within budget.
Innovative menu planning, and design of food service within specified budgets ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control.
Accountable for creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.
Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues.

You will …
Be able to effectively listen, establishing trust and ensuring contractual compliance through exemplary leadership.
Be able to take initiative and responsibility, committing to achieving growth by creating a culture of flexibility, adaptability and challenging the norm.
Have proven leadership skills
City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry
Ideally over 4 years’ experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar environment and role
