Senior Change Manager (M&A/Integrations) Excellent Day Rate (Inside IR35) Scotland (Open on location, ideally hybrid, 2/3 days per week in office) Contract 6 months (Ideally contract to perm) Posted Wed 20 Nov 24 CVs ASAP Start date Dec 24 – Jan 25 Meraki Talent’s consultancy client is actively looking for an experienced Senior Change Manager to join their expanding business, initially on a contract basis, ideally going contract to perm should the position be right for both parties. Our client has offices all over the country, and would love this person to be based within a commutable distance of one of their many offices, to ingratiate themselves with the business and culture. Our client loves an acquisition, and has an acquisition mindset and approach, hence the need for someone to come in as a Senior Change Manager to focus specifically on their M&A activity, helping integrate the businesses, technology, central functions, rebrand, and so on. This role is about people, and their attitude (or resistance) to change. There is an immediate need for this person with all the M&A activity going on, but with the approach of the business, there is a need for someone permanent, hence the appetite for someone to go contract to perm. They will consider someone who just wants a contract role too. This role would suit someone who is looking for a Senior Change/Project position that is delivery focused, and is not a 'hands off' Programme or 'Head of' role. This is small – medium sized M&A and would suit someone who knows how the M&A cycle works. This is not (for example) multibillion-dollar, 5 year integrations for huge global/listed businesses, where candidates are delivering upon a small part/slice of that overarching integration. Our client has quite a flexible approach to working, a hybrid approach, with this individual ideally being happy to work in one of their offices 2/3 days per week. Background of the Senior Change Manager (M&A/Integrations): - Extensive experience working as a career Senior Project, Change or Programme Manager is essential. Our client is happy to consider all the above providing they are completely happy to be hands on and delivery focused - Experience working on small – mid level M&A projects and integrations is essential - Strong people skills are essential, able to work with those resistant to change - Breadth of experience within a firm(s) as opposed to being siloed within a single function - Strong stakeholder management skills essential - Able to work in a Scottish office days per week Is this job for you?
