Tersus are looking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor (Tier 2 preferred) in the North London area, covering other areas such as Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
The role will be working 40 hours per week, usually 08.30 to 17.30, with a salary of up to £48,000 plus company car/allowance.
Responsibilities
* Conduct fire safety risk assessments in accordance with current fire safety regulations and provide suitable recommendations for remedial actions
* Produce clear and concise fire safety reports
* Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to schedule appointments and discuss assessment findings
* Provide fire safety advice and guidance to clients to help them meet their legal requirements
* Conduct fire safety training sessions for clients and their employees
* Keep up-to-date with changes in fire safety legislation and industry best practices
* Attend client meetings as required
Requirements
* Relevant degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety
* Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments
* Familiar with assessment applications such as Riskbase
* Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and legislation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards
* A proactive approach to work and a commitment to achieving objectives
* A full driving license is required as this role may involve travel to different locations
