(b9c3) Can you help care for a young boy who loves others and has a smile that can light up a room.
He likes to spend his days been talked to, read story books with pictures, a bounce on a trampoline with the song horsey horsey. A splash in a warm pool with Bing and Horrid Henry playing.
Alongside this he has significant health needs that are life limiting. He needs assistance to breathe which occasionally turns into an urgent situation. Could you help (full training will be provided) and keep calm under pressure? Help stretch his failing body to keep him comfortable, ensure he is medicated and fed correctly via a tube. Then help him sleep at night by helping him to move, and continue to breathe safely during the night.
This young boy comes from a busy household with dogs. It involves assisting at home with education and therapies and going out and about. Must be willing and hopefully wanting to get on a trampoline and in a warm pool each week. Ability to drive wheelchair accessible van also needed.
