Quality Inspector - Doncaster – £26k
Quality Inspector duties:
Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Manager, this is primarily an office based with lots of time spent collecting samples from the shop floor, you will also discuss issues, findings, plans and processes with colleagues and customers in person and over the phone.
Approving the production processes and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments or re-work to production.
Rejecting and returning unacceptable products and inspecting customer complaints returns.
Completing internal audits, reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; calling for repairs/calibrating as necessary and using SAP system to complete claims process.
Quality Inspector requirements:
Experience of quality inspection in a similar environment
Excellent communication, self-motivation and organisational skills
IT Literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Packages
Knowledge of Extrusion line and SAP an advantage
Commitment and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
Quality Inspector position is with a busy Doncaster based manufacturing company

Hours: 7am-7pm working 7 shifts out of every 14
