As a Workshop Manager you will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting brand.
What will you be doing?
1. Identify & implement the long term planning of future training activities for workshop colleagues.
2. Carry out warranty repairs as directed, returning displaced material to the correct location and in correct condition.
3. Compiling and maintaining a resource plan for the workshop and developing concepts and measures for load optimisation
4. Ensuring planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc. is carried out correctly; optimal design of workplaces and processes
5. Employing new staff and developing an induction plan
6. Managing, coaching and motivating employees and thus ensuring a high quality of employees
7. Defining target agreements with employees and reviewing the level of target achievement through regular 1-2-1s.
8. Monitoring and optimising productivity and performance of employees
9. Ensuring job time planning and task allocation for workshop is carried out correctly
10. Monitoring compliance with all statutory regulations, Ensuring quality control of all completed tasks
What are we looking for?
11. Full UK Driving Licence
12. Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential
13. Able to work independently and as part of a team
14. Ability to work to timescales effectively
15. Keen eye for detail, good communication and a passion for delivering great customer service
16. Experience in a main dealer environment
17. Strong industry knowledge
18. Ability to work under pressure
Salary and Hours
Salary is depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
