About the Role
We are seeking a QHSE Advisor to support operations in Aberdeen and other locations across the UK. This role involves driving health, safety, and environmental excellence through audits, investigations, and compliance initiatives.
As a QHSE Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company’s HSE requirements, including but not limited to:
1. Ensuring compliance and providing support for the development and completion of company policies and procedures.
2. Conducting HSEQ/operational audits and walk rounds both onshore and offshore.
3. Reviewing personnel safety statistics and identifying lessons learned.
4. Delivering toolbox talks or presenting safety-related topics to personnel.
5. Completing, reviewing, and approving Risk Assessments for company and site-specific activities.
6. Producing and distributing company safety alerts.
7. Leading external audits.
8. Supporting and/or leading investigations into non-conformances and accidents.
9. Assisting with the creation, input, and management of HSE plans for both client and company-specific operations.
10. Collaborating with the HSEQ Manager, Area Managers, and Team Leaders to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
11. Participating in company and client safety meetings.
12. Organizing and participating in safety stand-downs and toolbox talks.
13. Utilizing and maintaining the internal HSEQ system, iComply.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
1. Comprehensive understanding of UK QHSE legislation and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
2. Familiarity and experience with ISO 17020 (advantageous).
3. Proven experience in conducting both internal and external audits.
4. Experience in leading and/or supporting investigations into non-conformances or accidents.
5. Strong IT skills and experience in managing QHSE-related systems.
6. Relevant qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH.

Additional Information
Travel throughout the UK may be required to support various locations.
