Job Description
The HR Onboarding Officer role is a critical part of the DHSC resourcing team. The role includes managing candidates from recruitment campaigns from their offer through the onboarding and new starter stages, managing referrals and queries and ensuring that vacancy holders and candidate are updated on progress. This additionally involves managing enquiries via the shared mailbox.

Responsibilities include:
* Managing candidates from their offer to ID checks, including answering queries, providing recruitment guidance, and liaising with Government Recruitment Service (GRS) and other business stakeholders.
* Managing the team mailbox, including responding to basic, novel and complex queries.
* Regularly updating vacancy tracking spreadsheets.
* Working closely with Government Recruitment Service (GRS) and HR Operations and Payroll.
* Working to tight deadlines, taking ownership, and collaborating with others to respond to queries quickly.
* Ensuring information and data are handled correctly, following policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality is maintained and information is accessible.
* Providing support to a range of wider HR projects, working proactively and building strong working relationships with colleagues.
