Job Description: IT Change Specialist
Location: Hybrid – 1-2 days per week in the office in Manchester, Leeds, or Staines

Role: IT Change Specialist
The IT Change Specialist will deliver Clinics Technology Projects within the Technology Delivery and Change Team. They will be closely aligned with the Scrum Delivery Teams working in an Agile environment, supporting and managing the releases and implementation of Technologies supporting releases, as well as being responsible for delivering projects outside of Scrums.
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
* Complete delivery and accountability of the IT project to agreed plan, budget, quality, and timescales as defined by the business.
* Recognise and mitigate risks and proactively manage any corrective actions or change requests throughout the lifetime of the IT project.
* Create and manage optimised project plans, resource requirements, budgets, critical success factors, and key milestones for all IT projects.
* Contribute to the business case documentation for the IT project and ensure that all work has been through the appropriate governance process.
* Provide accurate and regular financial forecasts reports to appropriate stakeholders.
* Direct, motivate, and coach/mentor the project team on Agile best practices and SAFe methodologies.
* Lead and manage large-scale, business-aligned cross-functional IT projects using the SAFe framework.
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
* Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are clearly defined and achieved.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the team and processes.
* Provide status updates, issue escalations, and progress reports.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed for This Role:
* Knowledge and expertise in IT project management.
* Experienced in running IT projects, with proven experience of successfully delivering projects.
* Some understanding of common technology components.
* Knowledge of project methodologies and project delivery techniques.
* Project Management qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Must be able to demonstrate stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Able to construct and deliver presentations and options papers.
* Experience in project resource and cost management.
