We’re now looking to appoint an Electrical Technician/Instructor to be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of specialist equipment and facilities, for preparation of materials, for providing technical support in the teaching and learning process and for supporting and supervising students in the workshop.
The Technician/Instructor will be required to work two evenings per week as part of their normal working week.
We’d like our Technician/Instructor to hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and have recent industry experience in the area of electrical installation and/or testing. You will have sound knowledge of engineering practice, specifically electrical, and be skilled in the use of equipment and the preparation of materials. A 17th or 18th Edition qualification is desirable, as is a 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
