Role: Cover Supervisor
Salary: £90-£120 per day
Location: SA31
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Welsh speaking cover supervisor to provide general cover in a partner school in the Carmarthen area. The school are always on the lookout for Welsh speaking cover supervisors to join their team to support the teaching staff when there are illnesses or absences. The school is a bilingual secondary school who are passionate about promoting Welsh-medium education in the local community.

* Previous experience either working as a Cover Supervisor or delivering lessons in secondary schools as an Unqualified Teacher is preferred, however, we would welcome applicants from anybody with transferrable experience or skills, or those who have supported young people in a similar capacity.
Roles and responsibilities of a Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor
* Delivering lessons where the work has been set by the teacher.
* Ensuring positive behaviour management in accordance with school policies
* Supporting pupils who are having difficulty in completing the work that has been set.
* Developing strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
* Assist with the supervision of pupils out of lesson times, including before and after school and at lunchtime.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
