Tradewind is looking for an Food technology teacher for a SEMH school in North London. The role is full time starting in January with scope to become permanent after 2 terms.
The school:
An Alternative Provision (AP) for children and their families with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Their vision is to provide pupils with the confidence, educational progress and ambition necessary for a successful reintegration into mainstream school. This includes cultivating a productive lifestyle, personal resilience and the values required to become responsible members of society.
As Food technology teacher you will be responsible for the below:
Planning delivering lessons to pupils with SEMH
Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
Support behaviour by following the children's plans
Updating and setting targets for children.
Working alongside other professionals in the support networkTo join us and be successful in this role you will need:
Full QTS with experience of teaching secondary food tech
Previous experience working within SEMH
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
