***EVENTS VENUE MANAGER***
We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Events Venue Manager to support this fabulous venue for a 6 month fixed term. You will be leading the Operations and Event Executives to manage the events including meetings, parties, dinners, private weddings, barbecues, concerts, sports and community activities.
Salary c.£35-45K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Events Venue Manager include,
* Plan the diary for all events
* Create the Rotas for staffing permanent and casual staff
* Ensure the team complete the details for all enquiries and tasks
* Report financially on a weekly basis to the Chair and Finance Manager maintaining budgets
* Liaise with the Marketing Consultant for Instagram and Linkedin posts
* Conduct Showrounds for clients and follow up with Event Executives
* Engage with and maintain key relationships with internal and external departments to ensure the effective and efficient running of the venue
* Manage all the Health and Safety requirements (personal license holder if possible)
The ideal Events Venue Manager will need,
* To be available immediately and willing to commit to a 6 month fixed term contract
* Have a minimum five years events and venue management experience
* IT literate, with experience of POS system (Sumup preferred)
* Strong financial reporting skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Self motivated and self sufficient
* Strong service orientation and customer focus
* Strong attention to operational detail
Note this is a full-time 40 hours a week 6 month fixed term contract
