The designer will develop and deliver content, ensuring that it achieves the highest creative and editorial standards with adherence to BBC guidelines. Your expertise will be used across all platforms, and you will also be tasked to mentor more junior staff as required.
Main Responsibilities
4. To have an in depth knowledge of the editorial agenda and contribute editorial and creative design solutions across BBC NI Graphics both in a News and Programme environment.
5. Undertake a range of graphic designer duties.
6. To produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms.
7. Be accountable for the quality of your work and ensure it meets intended purposes.
8. Be accountable for the usability and accessibility of design deliveries for the broadest possible cross-section of the audience.
9. To ensure content reflects our diverse audiences.
10. Accountable for the delivery of content, acting within BBC Editorial, Legal and health and safety guidelines.
11. To work effectively with other departments ensuring you maintain excellent relationships.
12. To keep up to date with emerging industry trends.
13. Able to manage difficult stakeholders and deliver in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
14. Have an attitude that will create a positive working environment for colleagues from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences.

21. The ability to deliver different approaches and design styles.
22. Able to talk through your design decisions with a diverse range of people; evidence of successfully collaborating and sharing your ideas.
23. Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
