Role Overview
As a Crane Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in directing and supervising lifting operations with a keen focus on safety and quality. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Directing and supervising lifting operations in accordance with Method Statements.
2. Interpreting Risk Assessments and associated drawings.
3. Providing clear instructions to the lift team.
4. Assessing and halting operations if necessary, referring to the Appointed Person.
5. Adhering to BS7121 parts 1 and 3 standards.
6. Continuously seeking improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
7. Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
8. Previous experience in Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person roles.
9. Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
10. Strong knowledge of BS7121 parts 1 & 3.
11. Excellent verbal communication skills.
12. Confident decision-maker with the ability to challenge senior staff when necessary.
