Job summary
We are currently looking for a Team manager for our Home Treatment Team within East Cornwall.
You will take lead in the management and ongoing development of urgent Home Treatment Team Mental Health Service, and will be clinically responsible for multi-disciplinary allocated staff teams and the management and provision of quality evidence based intervention, advice, support and carefor services users with mental health and social care needs and their carers within the clinical area.
This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.
Main duties of the job
Ensure the process for management of urgent assessments and treatment within Home TreatmentTeams is in place in line with all relevant guidance, ensuring that services offer quality assessmentsof mental health. Ensure that the outcomes are person-centred and all planning, is in place for thisservice user/group.? Responsible for the setting of quality standards, including monitoring and reviewing in line withcurrent clinical guidance practice and policy.? Responsible for ensuring that team member's thoroughly assess and provide appropriatetreatment for service users' mental/physical/emotional/ state and that these are documented andacted on appropriately in line with trust policies and procedures.? Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 (and up-dated 2007)are observed, adhered to and implemented by all team members.

1. Have an appropriate degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
2. Relevant professional qualification in mental health or learning disabilities

3. Masters level professional education supplemented by specialist training and development or equivalent experience of working in adult mental health
