Job Description
PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Technical Assistant to join the team in Westhill on a full time permanent basis.
Details/duties:
* Maintaining technical files in line with company procedures
* Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organise and process documentation registers
* Maintaining accurate document control records in line with company procedures
* Support the refinement of existing document control recording systems through discussions and agreement with line supervision as required
* Manage and update document folder structure in the E&C SharePoint area
* Support, monitor and review suppliers and contractors document control as required to support the Lead Document Controller
* Liaison with client document control departments ensuring their procedures are adhered to
* Administration of records, drawings and documents in accordance with the Quality Management System and other relevant specifications as instructed by the Lead Document Controller
* Undertake archiving in accordance with the Quality Management System as instructed by the Lead Document Controller
* Issue reports as and when required in a timely manner
* Demonstration of safe approach in working practices
* Encouragement of attention to safety
* Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties
* Any other duties as directed by the Lead Document Controller
Qualifications/Experience required:
* Languages: English
* Previous experience in a similar position
