We are currently seeking self-driven PA/QA Manager to lead on Product and Quality Assurance tasks for ongoing projects, service delivery and maintenance of repeatable business processes. This includes management of all quality-related matters during all phases of assigned projects and operations activities and ensuring that the tasks and commitments defined in the PA/QA plans are performed to the required standard. The role will include the following responsibilities related to each project undertaken: Produce PA/QA management plans for the execution and delivery of defined programmes. Providing independent PA/QA support to those programmes. Draft and implement assurance policies and procedures within the company and ensure compliance with appropriate codes and regulations. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Participate in project review meetings and formal customer reviews to confirm that requirements are being met. Plan and perform audits and manage corrective actions to validate business processes and identify opportunities as a part of a continuous improvement culture. Chair Test Readiness and Test Review Boards. Track and manage non-conformances reports (NCRs) and anomalies (including Chairing Anomaly and NCR Review Boards). Track and manage RFDs and RFWs. Perform goods inspections, and record key inspection points. Provide equipment handling, storage, and transportation assurance oversight. Track and report quality assurance metrics to inform and improve operations. Manage PA documentation. Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level. Interact with suppliers in Quality/Product Assurance matters. Participate in bid/proposal preparations. Work with the Programme Manager, Health and Safety Manager and the GES Board to deliver programmes effectively and efficiently. Provide PA/QA reporting to the GES Board and external customers. Key skills that will help you in this role Engineering degree with proven experience in PA and QA disciplines. 3-5 years’ experience in working in a quality engineer/manager position in a highly regulated environment (aerospace, engineering, defence) Experience in defining and implementing ISO9001/AS9100 compliant Product/Quality Assurance processes and procedures. Experience in interacting with senior management, customers, sub-contractors and suppliers. Experience in supporting the Engineering Teams and have a proactive and positive attitude towards solving problems. Self-starter with proven attention to detail Good communication, customer liaison and interpersonal skills at all levels. Flexible approach and enthusiasm. Fluent in English (Verbal & Written) Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Desirable: Experience within the space domain with a working knowledge of ESA ECSS development and quality standards (for ground applications). Experience in the domain of electronic, RF and mechanical system development. Knowledge of ISO 27001 as it pertains to PA/QA.
