Responsibilities
:
1. Help coordinateernance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA, Risk & Control Self-Assessment) as required by the MCA Standard including the assessment and appropriate approval of risk associated with business changes.
2. Assist in contributing to the quality,pleteness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy and Control Inventory.
3. Provide support in the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to rmendations holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
4. Support on the implementation of the Lessons Learned Policy, including monitoring of control breaches and dissemination and learnings across other business units for process improvement to limit the occurrence of similar future events and where similar risk exposure might exist.
5. Influence decisions on the review and challenge process, within the FLUs, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution.
6. Perform analysis to support with the timeliness, accuracy andpleteness of the MCA through controls prior to the execution of a process (QC).
7. Influence decisions to support adherence to the MCA Standard through controls after the execution of a process (QA).
8. Support and contribute to Operational andpliance Risk in accordance with established Policy requirements.
9. Work with the team to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Risk Categories (Operationalpliance, Strategic, Reputational, etc), including material, emerging and concentration risks in accordance with enterprise Policies and the establishment of Key Indicators to monitor risk exposures.
10. Perform analysis to support Risk Appetite and monitor / assess exposures against this in accordance with enterprise requirements (if applicable).
11. Provide support to identify, assess, record and response to Operational andpliance Risk events, ensuring these are captured accurately, timely and in accordance with requirements.
12. Perform analysis to support that adequateernance and training is in place to support management of Risk profiles.
13. Perform analysis on the risks associated with New Activities and changes to the Business, ensuring these are well understood and adequately controlled (if applicable).
14. Support on operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing for Operational Risk Capital requirements.
15. Perform analysis to support risk and control assessments or coordination for programs within various risk stripes and ensure sufficient subject matter expertise exists to enable management of these risks within the Business ( third party, fraud, sanctions etc) (if applicable).
16. Support to ensure risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within FLUs, including contributing to training and leading by example.
17. Be involved with the implementation of standards and procedures that conform to enterprise requirements and support sound operational andpliance risk management.
18. Apply knowledge of the business, products or services to identify and implement control points and processes throughout the business.
19. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by drivingpliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
20. Experience in Technology risk & control, development or support
21. Experience with work-flow systems
22. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
23. Outstanding relationship building and relationship management skills
24. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbalmunication skills
25. Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
26. Self-motivated and detail oriented
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
