Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a finance organisation with offices based in Manchester City Centre & Ellesmere Port. This role will be working between both offices; therefore, applicants must be able to attend both sites. Please note this role is fully office based and there is free parking at the Ellesmere Port office
The day-to-day duties for this role are:
* Chasing debt with existing clients via phone, emails and letters and understanding their business and needs
* Managing your own portfolio of clients
* Assisting with month end data reporting
* Agreeing repayment plans where appropriate
* Chasing remittances for cash allocation
* Building relationships with clients and updating regularly
* Adding new client details to the internal system
* Escalate any issues to management and recommend accounts to solicitors
* Any other tasks as required
We'd love to speak to candidates with:
* Previous experience in a credit control role
* Good IT skills including MS Office and ability to learn and use CRMs
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* The ability to build rapport with customers
* Ability to deal with a varied and busy workload
* Fantastic attention to detail
