Overall purpose We are looking for a professional and high performing Sales and Marketing Director to deliver the next stage of growth for the business. They will lead and motivate the whole team and be responsible for developing and executing our sales and marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will bring new ideas, be organised, entrepreneurial, analytical, and have excellent management and mentoring skills.
Oversee the day to day running of the national sales and marketing team.
•Develop, gain agreement, and implement strategic plans in line with established performance criteria and overall strategy.
•Deliver on the Sales and Marketing budget.
•Oversee the build of brand awareness and loyalty with both trade and the consumer.
•Influence new sales opportunities and initiatives within the market sectors and to look outside of the box at how we develop and grow our business.
•Oversee the development of customer facing presentations and packages for events such as exhibitions, trade events and showroom displays.
•Ensuring company sales and profit targets are achieved and set / monitor key performance indicators for both sales and marketing
•Carry out analysis of customers, sales areas, and cost effectiveness of initiatives.
•Establish and maintain excellent business contacts with key customers across all sectors promoting the Intergas Brand.
•Overseeing negotiation of commercial agreements, contracts and annual terms with customers and suppliers.
•Work closely with the MD and senior managers on strategy, budgeting and planning.
•Meet with sales and marketing team on a regular (at least 1 x quarter) basis to present and assess performance against KPI’s. Present performance and results to senior management team on a monthly basis.
•Capitalise and promote the USP’s and strength of the company’s product range and brand, identifying market opportunities where appropriate with existing and new products.
•Ensure the company has an effective sales and marketing training program and to implement best practices throughout the department.

The company is based in Kidderminster, you will be based at the office with time spent out in the field when required. The successful candidate will also have occasional travel abroad to attend meetings and conferences.
