Requirements Manager (Maritime Platforms)
Location: Hybrid (Appledore, North Devon + Remote)

Join our client, a large government customers dynamic and forward-thinking team working at the forefront of maritime engineering. We are seeking a skilled Requirements Manager to support the regeneration and trials phase of a high-profile naval project. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of operational maritime capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Requirements Manager, your duties will include:
Acting as the primary technical focal point for project-related queries.
Supporting the delivery of technical inputs to critical project documentation, including ITEAP, risk registers, and issue logs.
Ensuring compliance with the Statement of Requirements (SRD) and Scope of Work (SOW) during vessel regeneration.
Managing technical changes to the URD, SRD, and SOW as approved by LTU.
Contributing to the development of documents required for vessel deployment, including safety case processes and Certificates of Design.
Providing technical recommendations to LTU regarding milestone achievements and acceptance plans (ITEAP).
Collaborating with the LTU M55 crew to ensure timely reporting on risks and issues to the Project Manager.
Overseeing capability acceptance (ITEAP) and assisting with Test Forms development for HATs/SATs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with at least 5 years of senior-level experience in shipbuilding or ship refits.
Extensive experience in requirements management (URD, SRD, SOTR, SOW derivation).
Proven expertise in managing IVV (Integration, Verification, and Validation) activities.
Valid UK driving licence (role requires regular travel to Appledore and occasional travel to LTU).
Eligibility for baseline security clearance and ability to hold an SC.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with GRP construction.
Experience with Hunt Class or other Mine Counter Measure Vessels (MCMVs).
Regeneration experience with MCMVs.
Security clearance at Secret (SC) or higher.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid Working: Regular travel to Appledore shipyard (approximately every two weeks for a two-day stint). Some remote working and potential limited travel to LTU required.
Deliverables Include:
Quarterly technical performance reports.
Technical assessments for Certificates of Conformity and validated safety cases.
Weekly activity diary provided to the Project Manager
