Finance Manager – Full-Time
Location: Hadleigh, Essex

Key Responsibilities
As Finance Manager, you will:
* Support the Finance Director in managing the finance department effectively.
* Oversee the accounts payable process and ensure smooth weekly payment runs, both in GBP and foreign currencies.
* Prepare monthly management accounts and submit quarterly VAT returns accurately and on time.
* Assist the Finance Director in:
* Budgeting and forecasting, including Cashflow and P&L analysis.
* Property and overhead cost analysis, identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
* Coordinating year-end audits and liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
* Managing the renewal of maintenance and energy contracts.
* Provide support and cover to the payroll department when required.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
* AAT qualification (or similar) with at least 3 years’ experience in management accounting.
* Preferably, experience in payroll operations.
* Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A proven ability to implement cost controls and ensure compliance.
* Logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
