The Role:
As a Sr. Lab Technician, you will design polymer testing protocols, manage lab operations, and support product development. This includes operating lab equipment, conducting physical tests, and collaborating across departments to ensure innovation while maintaining safety and quality standards.
How You Will Make an Impact:
* Design and execute polymer tests, manage application projects, and analyze data.
* Operate lab equipment (extruders, moulders, mixers) and perform physical tests (viscosity, color, rheology, mechanical).
* Troubleshoot, maintain lab instruments, and ensure safe operations following SOPs.
* Ensure raw material availability and manage sample dispatch from the lab.
* Collaborate with internal/external production sites and support cross-functional projects.
Creating Extraordinary Starts With:
* Higher National Certificate Level 4/5 in Science (BSc in Polymer/Material Science preferred).
* Extensive hands-on experience in polymer processing (extrusion, molding) and equipment maintenance.
* Strong understanding of physical testing and troubleshooting.
* Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and effective communicator.
* Flexibility for occasional travel and 36.25 hours per week commitment.
