Associate Landscape Planner, specialising in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
A dynamic consultancy is seeking an Associate Landscape Planner to contribute to a diverse range of exciting projects, from bespoke countryside homes to urban regeneration and strategic mixed-use developments. About You:
Essential Experience
* Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.
* A minimum of four years' experience as a Landscape Planner.
* Skilled in site appraisals, producing Advice Notes, and preparing Opportunities and Constraints plans to shape sensitive development proposals.
* Experience in urban and strategic site contexts.
* Knowledge of Green Belt, scenic landscape designations, and EIA development.
* Advantageous: Expert witness experience or supporting evidence delivery.
* Interest in planning policy, with tall building assessment experience seen as a plus.
* Confident in coordinating GIS work and managing external consultants' visualisations.

* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
* Proven ability to mentor junior team members and critically review work.
* A flexible approach to problem-solving and adapting to project challenges.
* Commercial awareness and an aptitude for business development.
* Proficiency in producing detailed, high-quality written reports.
* Eligible to work in the UK and have a full, clean driving license.
