No previous experience with visually impaired students is necessary, as training will be provided.
Tasks
Greenford High School seeks an individual who is keen to learn about the best ways to support visually impaired students and help remove barriers to their learning. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 with a visually impaired student and will be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, be responsible for preparing adapting resources and supporting other Learning Support Assistants in how to offer support.
Requirements
Desire to help students acheive the best outcome. Ability to communicate well with young people, with patience and understanding. Experience working with young people.
